the things i do for this school.
Somehow, I always forget the toll teaching takes on my voice. I mean, with regard to subject matter and lesson-planning, it’s not a very hard job to do, even for someone as massively underqualified as me. But the physical aspect of it? The standing and pacing and gesturing and pitching one’s voice just right while keeping dialogue animated? I forget how taxing that can be.
