Sherlock, obviously. (Though I love John. Who doesn’t love John?)

Q2: Who is your least-favorite character in #1?
Uhhh. I wasn’t too fond of Martha, to be honest.

Q3: What’s your favorite episode of #4?
In S2, I loved “Never Been Kissed” (jslkdf Teenage Dream ajsflkafjkl). S3, so far, it’s actually been “Asian F”. (Mike Chaaaang. ♥)

Q4: What is your favorite season of #5?
There is no possible way for me to choose.

Q5: What’s your favorite relationship in #2?
John and Sherlock. In whatever form the relationship takes. Friendship, bromance, romance, whatever. They’re halves of the same whole.

Q6: How long have you watched #1?
Not… entirely sure. A year, maybe two?

Q7: How did you become interested in #3?
I think I saw bits of it on TV a few times and it sort of grabbed my attention because I’m a junkie for crime dramas. Then my cousin (who has similar tastes in television) recommended it to me, and I figured, ‘Why not?’

Q8: Who is your favorite actor in #4?
Chris Colfer (because he’s amazing and I love his voice) or Darren Criss (because I have half-Filipino pride and I love his voice).

Q9: Which show do you prefer: #1, #2, or #5?
Ooh, BBC triad. Um… sdlkfd #2. I love the others, but Sherlock… I only watched it for the first time a few weeks ago, but I haven’t stopped re-watching it ever since. It’s turned into a full-blown obsession.

Q10: Which show have you seen more episodes of: #1 of #3?
Good question. I actually worked it out. I’ve seen 80 episodes of Doctor Who (haven’t quite caught up in S6), versus 195 episodes of Criminal Minds. I shudder to think how many hours it all adds up to.

Q11: If you could be anyone from #2, who would you be?
Anderson. :| No, I think I’d like to see the world through Sherlock’s eyes.

Q12: How would you kill off your favorite character in #1?
Okay, so my favorite Doctor Who characters are the Doctor and Captain Jack Harkness. I honestly don’t think I could come up with a better way to kill off the Doctor than the way 10th went. (I SOB. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.) As for Jack: I’m not imaginative enough to think of a way to kill him that hasn’t already happened.

Q13: Would a crossover between #3 and #4 work?
LOLING FOREVER. Criminal Minds and Glee. I will refer you to this post. (I swear I did not cheat.)

Q14: Pair two characters in #1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple.
Uhh. I… don’t know. I assume this means romantically, and I’m actually not that big on pairing DW characters. The Doctor and Donna? Unlikely to ever get together (best mates and so not the other’s type), but one of the snarkiest, most brilliant partnerships ever.

Q15: Overall, which show has a better cast: #3 or #5?
This is a horrible question and I refuse to answer it.

Q16: Which has better theme music: #2 or #4?
Theme music, I’d say Sherlock. Glee doesn’t have much of a theme song. (“Don’t Stop Believing” doesn’t count.)

Personal Wholock headcanon:

Mycroft is the shadow head of Torchwood and he’s spent innumerable resources just to ensure that Sherlock and the Doctor (and/or Captain Jack) are never in one room together. He feels that it’s more than worth the trouble, as he imagines the results would be catastrophic, possibly on a universal scale.

In less science-fictiony news, I am considering the possibilities of a crossover between Sherlock and Criminal Minds. Because Reid would be the ultimate Sherlock fanboy. ♥

Decided that my first homemade gif ought to be of the moment when I realized I would go down with this ship. Just that look on Sherlock’s face. The “I am a high-functioning sociopath!” line kind of gets shot to hell, doesn’t it?

I actually have followers. Followers whom I did not know before starting this tumblr. Insane! Thank you so much, jaakaappirunoilija, breannafied, and thedalekcrucible. (And Penny and Missa-chi, too. But you already know how much I ♥ you.)

So should I take this to mean that I ought do more pretending-to-be-Sherlock posts? Or shall I branch out into the Wholock that’s been taking over my neurons the past few days?

Problem:   There is gum on the bottom of my bag and on my carpet. I am Very Not Happy.

Solution:   I shall pretend to be Sherlock Holmes and solve the mystery of where the gum came from. With luck, the process will make me feel less enraged.

Observations (part I):

#1 • The gum smells like generic mint, possibly peppermint. I prefer spearmint.
#2 • I have not chewed gum today, yesterday, the day before, or any time in the past three months.
#3 • There was no gum on my carpet earlier this morning, when I cleaned the vicinity.
#4 • No one has been in my room in the intervening hours while I was at school. (Unproven, but very likely.)

Deductions (part I):

#1 • The gum did not come from me.
#2 • The gum originated on my bag and was transferred to the carpet.

Observations (part II):

#1 • The gum was not on my bag when I arrived in school.
#2 • The bag did not stick to the floor at any point during my classes.
#3 • I kept my bag in my lap all throughout the bus rides home. Any gum adhering to the surface of my bag would have stuck either to the seat directly before me, or to my jeans.
#4 • Any gum transferred from a dry surface onto my bag would have gone stringy when pulled from its original placement. I would have noticed this.

Deductions (part II):

#1 • The gum must have gotten on my bag at some point between the middle of my second bus ride and my arrival at home.
#2 • The gum could not have been transferred from a part of the bus onto my bag, as none of the surfaces inside the bus were wet.

Observations (part III):

#1 • The gum retains a very strong minty smell.
#2 • The bus was relatively uncrowded.
#3 • The only points of contact I had with another passenger on the bus were just before I got off at my stop: one an older woman who stood in front of me and the other a younger man who bumped into me from behind but did not get off at the same stop.

Deductions (part III):

#1 • The gum was virtually unchewed and fresh from someone’s mouth.
#2 • The gum was placed on my bag on purpose, by another person.
#3 • The older woman could not have done it.

Conclusion:   The young man did it.

People really fucking suck sometimes. On the other hand, I do feel calmer.

I spent my entire bus ride home observing other passengers and making deductions.

And I had no idea I was doing it.

Conclusion: Too much Sherlock. Going to watch it again? Hell. Yes.

Bonus: I was wearing my black peacoat and my favorite scarf. But then again, that’s just what I wear. Always.
